The Background

WAREHOUSE is a tenant at County Mall Shopping Centre in Crawley and, while the Centre as a whole had been experiencing year on year positive trading results, WAREHOUSE was not seeing the same conversion in their store. A shopper marketing campaign was required to enhance the profile of the store within the centre and drive immediate sales.

The Challenge

To deliver a campaign that would increase sales for the store in the short-term and build a segmented list of shoppers for future engagement.

The Solution

The Velocity Worldwide marketing team developed a promotion to highlight WAREHOUSE’s festival fashion range just in time for the music festival season. Our shopper engagement platform, Darius™ was deployed across all elements of the campaign, which was promoted across web, social media and email channels. The campaign had two key elements:

  • A competition to build a segmented shopper list and to promote current festival fashion stock available in store
  • A 20% discount coupon to spend in-store

The Results

  • An increase of 6% in trade for the month– the first positive trading figures for the year to date
  • Most products featured sold out
  • Over 400 shoppers opted in to receive future promotions from WAREHOUSE at County Mall
